 Friends of San Jose Beautiful is giving local companies a chance to "lease" a piece of the world's only outdoor Monopoly board for a one-year annual sponsorship contribution. A "Monopoly in the Park" sponsor contribution guarantees association with a game board property, first right of renewal on the same piece with an engraved house or hotel recognizing each additional year of sponsorship, participation in all publicity and promotions, and display of company name and/or logo in all collateral materials. All sponsorship money will be used toward the expense of installing the second phase of construction of Monopoly in the Park, as well as funding for beautification and environmental education programs within the City of San Jose.
